Tandjung Sari Hotel – A Balinese Paradise

If you are planning a trip to Bali and looking for a gorgeous and sophisticated beachfront hotel, consider Tandjung Sari Hotel. Tandjung Sari will captivate you with its Balinese charm and beauty.

Tandjung Sari is a locally owned beachfront hotel in Bali on Sanur Beach. What I loved the most about it, was how quiet and secluded it felt, yet it was still very close to bars, stores, cafes, and restaurants.

Tandjung Sari hotel is made up of spacious bungalows that are carefully maintained and extremely clean. Many of the bungalows, including the one that I stayed in, have private outdoor showers. The bathrooms have large windows that look out to the private area where the shower is. The bathroom was my probably my favorite thing about the bungalow; it was so beautiful!

The bungalows are designed with Balinese architecture lending to the beauty of each one. The doors and many of the sculptures throughout the property are made locally in the Balinese style. All have amenities such as air conditioning, indoor showers, and running water.

The service was phenomenal. If you need anything during your stay, just let the front desk know, they will make sure you have everything you need for a comfortable stay. The employees will also help you book taxis, excursions, or reservations at restaurants. Unfortunately, I got desperately ill during my visit. They can even call a doctor if you need one! They were very knowledgeable about the area.

The hotel offers an onsite bar and a restaurant with outside dining. There is hardly anything better than being able to enjoy an excellent meal with views of the ocean.

Enjoy this incredible view while dining at their beachfront restaurant.

Breakfast was included in my stay. Waking up early to enjoy a fantastic meal with views of the ocean was a great way to start the day. Don’t forget to try the local coffee; it’s terrific. The fruit was amazing too!

While I loved everything about this place, one thing that I especially liked was sitting outside under the hanging lanterns. At night, you can sit out in one of their lounge chairs and enjoy the view and sound of the ocean and the glow of the lanterns. The beach was incredibly peaceful in the evening.

If you are like me and prefer not to swim in the ocean, you can take advantage of their beautiful pool. Most of the time I had the entire pool to yourself. I liked that this hotel seems to cater to older adults, which means you won’t find children in the pool.

I loved the location. Sanur beach is beautiful and quiet (at least when I was there). There were tourists and lots of services catering to tourists, but it wasn’t over-crowded. Along the beach are small kiosks where you can get a massage, a manicure or pedicure, or rent small boats. Walking down Sanur beach, you will find a lot of hotels and resorts, but if you leave one of the resorts and cross the street, you will find many bars and restaurants and a lot livelier environment. I liked this because you can enjoy the tranquility of the hotel and beach but not have to go far if you want entertainment.
